Highland Park Huskies Remember

Special thank you to our veterans and Mr. Sean Coady for participating and presenting at our Remembrance Day assembly on Friday, November 7, 2025. We learned about the importance of Remembrance Day, National Indigenous Veterans Day and the significance of the poppy. Students were very interested to also learn about how pets were utilized during wars of the past.

Our whole school sang “Be a Light” and two students, Mina and Brooklyn, recited In Flanders Fields.
