2020 Season Information

Basketball season is underway for many of our grade 4/5 Girls and Boys.  Highland Park has 3 teams that each play a 5 game schedule versus other teams in our District.  Our Girls Team practices on Tuesday and Thursday at lunch, and has games on Thursday after school.  Our two Boys Teams practice on Wednesday and either Friday or Monday depending on holidays and Pro-D Days, and play games on Wednesday after school.  Our teams will also participate in the Grade 5 year-end Jamboree Tournament at a location to be decided later.  Our Girls Team is coached by Miss Fox and Miss MacKinnon, while our Boys Teams are coached by volunteer Gary Davidson and Mr. Ward and Mr. Ellis.  We are very appreciative of our coaches giving their time and expertise in helping our students develop skills, play with sportsmanship, and have fun together.  Games usually take about an hour and are from approximately 3:00pm-4:00pm, and all members of the Highland Park community are encouraged to come out and support our athletes!
